Total Body Approach We have to begin to know of a new paradigm that is one in which we have to know that nothing truly functions independently. Every once in a while something happens you may be injured, or poisoned by bad food or chemicals, you may have a genetic weakness that is showing up just now at this time in your life or maybe it just normal wear and tear on the body because of the job you have. These unfortunate occurrences can happen in the daytime or at night, as a result of astorm, a strong wind, too much or too little water or because it is too hot or too cold causing some of ht systems to overload. As we are realizing these stresses can be physical, chemical or emotional factors, can come from damage to or improper use of a part, trauma and /or simply because of the ageing process. The body then suffers from disorganized function of one kind or another which can manifest as pain, limited use or a part or “dis-ease” which can ultimately become disease. It might be important in some cases to remember that these things can happen in the daytime or at night time, eyes open eyes closed. This disturbance sometimes affects our nervous system causing a loss of control of the structural or functional integrity and muscle balance. Most times this not only results in pain but sometimes in loss of function in one part or another. Sometimes it manifests as a dysfunction in our circulation, digestive and eliminative systems i.e.: the ability to process food properly (taking it in processing it, passing it through and letting it out) is commonly affected or the integrity of our circulatory system (clogging up or breaking down and sometimes even bursting a pipe sort of speaking). This and other disorganizations can cause a myriad of problems from loss of energy, loss of the use of a part, pain, degeneration an disease, to such things as fat accumulation, infertility, loss of body heat, loss of sexual function, etc. A very marvelous computer system runs the body and all its other systems and functions. It knows everything about us. It knows what is not functioning properly, where it is in deficit, whit it is not functioning properly, what needs to be done to correct it and in the meantime tries to adjust or modify other functions to accommodate for this deficit if possible which may include causing pain to restrict use of a part. Etc. Through a refined intact muscle testing technique and the Dynatron 200 your doctor uses a very organized from of Kinesiology which can not only access the body’s own knowledge of itself, but is able to locate and define the specific problem or problems. It can also determine if there is any neurological priority (if something need to be done first), indicates the proper application of the treatment to correct the problem and then this same therapeutic modality supplies a neuro “feed back” system which immediately monitors the body’s response to the treatment modality and let the doctor and the patient know if what was done was efficacious at that time of the treatment. Many of the various problems, traumas, injuries, etc. occur under a variety of circumstances, the examination and treatment protocols must be addressed in relation to these circumstances. In the light or in the dark (eyes open or eyes closed). In relationship to some particular circumstance or incident that has occurred. Now we can access the body’s precise knowledge of the particular problem and we can’t therefore more precisely influence the desired outcome of the treatment protocol. The Total Body Approach is very specifically a way to reorganize your body so that it can function as it was designed. We address the primal survival system of feeding, fight/flight, reproduction and immune function which includes the repair, growth and controlled reproduction of tissue. Everything that we do and everything that is done or happens to us must, of neurological necessity, manifest in and through these systems in one way or another. In this way we can get to the real cause of the problem and not some superficial symptom as other treatment modalities tend to do. All of the other functions we have are subdivisions of these primal survival systems. Many times patients ask what we treat. Well, that is hard to say because we treat the body as a whole functioning unit rather than a part of it. Everything must involve the nervous system in one way or another. When we get done organizing the nervous system anything you had is usually gone. We do deal with all sorts o problems including all weight bearing conditions, sacro—iliac and sciatic conditions, gait systems problems, T.M.J. and digestive problems, immune system and allergy problems, circulatory and cardiac stresses problems, scoliosis, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, glandular problems and many, many more. Because we are dealing with the organiza5ionof the central nervous system itself and the survival systems it controls and not the pain, or a part, you do not have to live with it. Something can always be done for whatever you have. Utilizing these methods we have been able to successfully address most of the problems which will befall the human condition. People come to us with their lives or the lives of their loved ones from all over. We have no choice but to keep on looking for the answerers. |
